I didn’t step down. My role was taken from me.
Just so there’s no confusion — here’s what happened.
My boss didn’t explain. Didn’t take responsibility. Didn’t replace anything.
He gave the bike back like nothing was wrong — and then quietly started pushing me out.
I wasn’t trying to start anything. I just showed what was real.
I kept quiet as long as I could. But this crossed a line.
I owe it to my mom. And to her cat I’m taking care of.
I’m not trying to cancel anyone. I’m not doing this for clout. I just need you to know the truth.
After my I lost my mom to cancer, I had been her caregiver previously.
The job was all I had left. And I lost it for doing the right thing.
If I disappear from your feed, now you know why.
In Florida, eviction proceedings can start just 8 days after rent is late. And being homeless here? It’s literally illegal. I can’t just crash in my car or figure it out later.
On top of that, I’m about to lose the few remaining things I have left from my family — photos, journals, keepsakes. I know they might not look like much to anyone else, but they mean everything to me.
If you appreciate what I do — even a little — and you’re in a position to help, consider it.
